A superior four star Guest House situated in Hartbeespoort, a short drive from the spectacular dam wall and many other tourist attractions. The 4 hectare secure property bedecked with bougainvilleas is where the owners have run their wholesale nursery business for over two decades. This is reflected in the landscaped outdoor setting of the Guest House which will delight bird watchers and gardeners alike. A pleasant walk or jog on the grounds and you will most likely discover our resident monkeys and squirrels!

Accommodation

The house itself consists of six spacious guest suites. Three superior rooms offer the guest queen sized extra length beds with en suite bath and shower room. Three standard rooms offer two single extra length beds and en suite shower room. All our suites have air conditioning, televisions, Mnet and a refreshment zone to complete your personal comfort. Single guests are welcome as well as children over twelve years of age. We are also wheelchair friendly.

All our rooms open onto an enclosed courtyard where you can enjoy an early morning coffee or a sundowner and anticipate the delicious aromas of freshly cooked food which make this Guest House a pleasure to visit. Homegrown produce is used when in season and lunch or dinner is provided on request. We also cater for vegetarians. Hostess Linda will make sure your stay is a memorable one and will delight you with attention to detail and exceptional service.

Our barbeque area is a place to mingle if you feel like meeting other guests. Weather permitting, on a lazy Sunday afternoon or tropical evening, Linda does us proud with a traditional South African braai! If all else fails she will no doubt rustle up a tempting roast and Yorkshire Puddings! If you have a special occasion to celebrate, we need to know as it is only a pleasure to go the extra mile during your stay.

Conferences and Functions:
Our 24 seater dining room is spacious and inviting and we welcome enquiries for private functions and small wedding parties. Honeymoons and Bachelorette sleepovers are fast becoming popular at Le Bougainville! And if we omitted something that will suit your needs, please let us know. On the corporate side, mini conferences, seminars and team building exercises are catered for. We have a projector and big screen facilities for sporting and other events together with WiFi Internet access.

Location

We are close to shops, restaurants, an elephant and monkey sanctuary and lots more! A cheetah tour is recommended or a visit to the local cheese factory. A round of golf, hot air balloon ride or a trip to Sun City is a breeze from our location. Art galleries, a lion park and zoo, are just a few of the many interesting choices to suit all ages and tastes.

Whatever you decide, you will find plenty to do and if you just want to ‘chill’ we have a large air conditioned lounge for you to read a book, play scrabble, listen to music or just enjoy afternoon tea and scones. A real log fire completes your comfort in winter.
