Phumuza means "Take a Break" in Zulu & that is exactly what we would
like you to do.
We are a 10 minute drive from the Town of Bela-Bela (Warmbaths),
which provides a good selection of shops, restaurants, the Ventura
hot springs resort, an African market & much more.
The emphasis at Phumuza is on relaxation.
Wild Life:
We have 100 acres of diverse indigenous bushveld, prolific birdlife
and small game.
There is a quaint lookout tower which provides an awesome view.
The terrain is fairly flat with interesting walks on well set out
paths.
Cool off in our refreshing pool after conquering the bush trails.
Watch the sun's tranquil and serene farewell at the end of the day
while relaxing around the natural rock pool or rise early to welcome
its enchanting return at Leopards Rock , named after the sighting of
a female leopard and her two cubs.
Accommodation:
We provide accommodation in comfortable chalets and log cabins with
en suite bathrooms.
All the chalets and log cabins are self catering with fully equipped
kitchens. Each kitchen has a gas cooker and braai facilities. There
is a communal lounge for watching Television with DStv.
Good wholesome home cooked meals are served on the veranda by
arrangement.
You can enjoy sitting around the fire in the boma & enjoy your after
dinner coffee while admiring our starry skies, or relax in the
Jacuzzi while watching the bushbabies.
Limited conference facilities are available. Call us for more
details and any specific requirements you have.
Phumuza is also an ideal team building venue.

When entering Bela-Bela
(Warmbaths), turn right and go over the bridge, turn right at the
first robot, (this will take you past the Engen garage and the
Wimpy) this is the R101, travel on this for 7km, you will then come
to a signpost that says Eersbewoon Road, Klein Kariba resort will be
on the left, you turn right onto the Eersbewoon Road, travel for
1.7km, you will see our "Phumuza" sign on the right (also Hide
Away), go over the railway line and keep left, keep on the road for
1.9km, do not take the Hide Away turnoff, our white gate posts with
the "Phumuza" sign will be on your right.
Enter and prepare to "take a break".
