Maxim's Guest House

 This cosy thatched roof guest house offers affordable accommodation for discerning guests. Set within a lush tropical garden, with swimming pool and braai facilities, Maxims offers delightful breakfasts and the option of other meals are available by prior arrangements. Maxims is approximately 3km outside Tzaneen.  The fully licensed Blue Max Pub, has DS TV and pool tables.   

Letaba River Eco Park Lodge: 

All our accommodation facilities are serviced daily. Dinning in our stunning restaurant over looking the Letaba River is available by prior arrangement.

Children are welcome under supervision of adults. Children under the age of 10 years are accommodated at half price.

Mashutti Country Lodge

 Situated, in the mountains, 8km's above the town of Tzaneen, it has a cool climate in the summer months, malaria free, and a fantastic climate during the winter months.

The lodge has a peaceful quiet atmosphere where a person can relax and escape the rat race. The 44 air-conditioned double rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished, with two double beds, a cane suite, TV, bar fridge, fan, and a full bathroom. From your private verandah's enjoy the view of either the mountains, or the Letaba Valley.

Coffee and tea are supplied in the room. Dine in the restaurant and enjoy great food from the full a la carte menu, have a sundowner in the ladies bar or relax in the lounge. In the summer months cool off in one of the three swimming pools.  The lodge also offers: Conference and function facilities.

Hilltop Country Lodge (5 Star rating)

Situated on a magnificent hill with views over the Letaba River, farmlands and mountains. Hill Top offers individually decorated luxury bedroom suites, each with en suite bathrooms and air-conditioning.  Die Stoep

Luxurious “olde worlde” charm on a tranquil farm setting with views overlooking the vast reaches of the Tzaneen dam.  Die Stoep has 5 bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite. Each room has MNet and DSTV, hairdryers, clock radios, electric blankets and fans. Guests are welcome to use the facilities - there is a cozy lounge, a wonderful “stoep”, ideal for sipping sun-downers, swimming pool with braai area and a lovely garden.  Dinner is served on request.

Beautifully situated, 3 km from Tzaneen on Georges Valley road, Satvik is on the bank of the Tzaneen Dam. Stunning riverside setting with pizza oven and braai and amphitheatre (seat 100 people). Backpacker type accommodation, fully equipped cottages and a camping site. Boating facilities: Canoeing, sailing and low activity motor boating in the estuary. Skiing on the main Tzaneen dam. No electricity other than in the communal kitchen area.

Tzaneen Country Lodge  

Offers 45 luxury en-suite rooms, all with air-conditioning and mostly opening onto our sparkling swimming pool. The rooms are made up of double, twin and family rooms, two honeymoon suites and also facilities for paraplegics. Other activities include walks in the wild, getting to know your indigenous trees, cycling, canoeing and bass fishing. Our horses are available for experienced riders.

This environmentally friendly hotel - a model of eco tourism taken to a new level - is nestled on 150 hectares of a working mango farm and indigenous forest with a prolific bird-life. Situated on the R71, 20km from Tzaneen towards Letsitele. 

 Hillbilly Haven- Agatha

This self- catering guest house is nestled in the picturesque Wolkberg mountains 14km outside Tzaneen in Agatha.  There is a 2 sleeper unit as well as the house that sleeps 10 in five bedrooms. The lounge has a wonderful fireplace for those chilly mountain nights.  There are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Camp cots available on request (no charge).  Single Garage, Braai facilities, Security & armed response.  

 Clair's Cottages - Tzaneen

Situated in the heart of the subtropical paradise Tzaneen is our warm open cozy guesthouse (homestead) with its indigenous and exotic garden. Offers the perfect retreat for the weary traveler, business man or tourist.

Granny Dot's Country Spot - Agatha

Granny Dot’s Country Spot is scenically situated on Agatha on an avocado farm with uninterrupted views of the magnificent Wolkberg Mountains. Abundant bird life and small game abound.  There are short hikes on the farm, canoeing, fishing and swimming in a secluded dam.  Your hosts go “that extra mile”, ensuring genuine hospitality and that your stay is a memorable one with country cooking.  On Sundays, guests can arrange champagne breakfasts in the Forests, or opt for 4X4 trails up into the mountains at little extra cost.

They have two “self-catering” units – one has a bedroom with a double bed (shower en-suite) with an open plan living/kitchenette area that has an additional single bed.  The other is an open plan living/sleeping/kitchenette.   

Fairview Country Lodge

Fairview Lodge is situated on the Phalaborwa road, a few kilometers from Tzaneen. The lodge, is set on a 26 hectare farm, offers the visitor a myriad of different activities. Huge trees and luscious foliage makes this a bird watchers paradise and a peaceful haven for nature lovers, A walking trail follows the winding Letaba River. The accommodation is of a high standard and they have 3 duplex, (2 bedrooms) fully equipped chalets with Braai facilities.  There is a restaurant available for meals on the property.   

Kings Walden Guesthouse 

Near Tzaneen offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the foothills of the Northern Drakensberg. Our renowned 3ha (six acre) formal English garden is an attraction in itself with water features, hidden grottos and panoramic views of the Tzaneen area.

The fully-serviced guest house comprises five suites, two with kitchenettes and all with fireplaces, satellite TV and spacious sitting areas. A Cordon Bleu kitchen serves traditional English breakfasts and cuisine dinners are optional.

Silvermist Guest House Bed & Breakfast

Situated high up in the mountains overlooking the small town of Modjadjiskloof. It has a picturesque view of the ravine and mountains that form part of the legendary "Valley of the Silver Mist".
