Angasii Game Lodge

Built to maximize privacy, Angasii optimizes on luxury living, bringing you back to nature. The chalets are all uniquely equipped with facilities to cater for your needs, offering exclusive Self Catering and B & B to Fully Inclusive Accommodation. We create packages to suit your needs, from the travelling Businessperson to a Holiday Getaway.

All beds are fitted with customised linen and quality towelling to ensure a comfortable night sleep. Each chalet has dual purpose air conditioners for those chilly nights and sunny days. TV’s are also standard with some having added DSTV, and all having easy access to swimming pools. Wood and firelighters are restocked daily with tea, coffee, sugar, rusks and milk. A variety of cereals and orange juice is also supplied. For your piece of mind, each chalet has an individual alarm system and programmable safe. All chalets are serviced daily with extra housekeeping available throughout the day.

For your convenience we offer a laundry service and babysitting in your chalet, a car wash can also be arranged. We are now also offering wireless internet to all our guests, keeping you connected.

Whether you are visiting Angasii Game Lodge with your family or you are on a business brainstorming session, the facilities at Angasii will cater for all your needs.

An open restaurant with roaring fires serving a gastronomical dinner and lazy brunch with Ladies bar is open daily. Bush hampers can also be ordered for a picnic under the trees or to take to work! Take away meals or side orders can be prepared, for you to enjoy in the privacy of your chalet.

Lavish Lapa’s and Pool areas to relax and unwind, ensures comfort in style. Ample facilities for small functions or conferences, give a unique opportunity to gather in casual leisurely surroundings.

Things to do in the bushveld …

Activities in this picturesque setting include game viewing on an open viewing vehicle. Sundowners are served to ease into the evening with splendour. Lists of animal and birdlife on the farm are available to keep record of all your sightings. Hunting is also on offer by prior arrangement. If you have to head indoors, we have a variety of games to keep you busy. Day trips to Sun City & Pilansberg or Marakele National Park can also be advised on.


Game Drives	Feel the fresh air through your hair, viewing game from an open vehicle. A complimentary sun downer is included.
Birding & Walking	A map is freely available. A fantastic array of colourful birds are waiting to be spotted. Tick off the animals as you go to record all your special finds. Be prepared for many photographic opportunities.
Swimming Pools	To cool down from a busy day.
Games	Board and Card games: Monopoly, Scrabble, Jenga, Cludo, Rumi cub and more are also available.
Quad Bikes	We invite you to bring your own 4 stroke quad bike. A set of rules will apply with a speed limit of 30km per hour on the farm.
Shooting	Paintball is perfect for family groups and corporate occasions. Up to 12 guns with safety equipment can be arranged. Please allow one weeks notification period. Enquire for hunting information.
Sun City	A mere 70km away, enjoy the Valley of the Waves, Casino’s and Gary Player Golf Courses.
Pilansberg	A easy 40km drive to view the Big 5 and many other activities. Elephant back rides can be arranged.
Marakele	A New National Reserve has been developed a mere 70km from us. They play host to the Big 5, with easy access to some of the highest vantage points giving the most spectacular views and vulture sittings. Also home of a legendary 4 x 4 course for the enthusiast.

Angasii is conveniently situated 10 km from Northam and 45km from Thabazimbi on the R510. It is a mere 70 km drive to Sun City and 180 km from major Gauteng cities like Pretoria and Johannesburg and less than 100km from Rustenburg. We are situated in the Platinum Belt, making an easy drive to major mines in the area.

Directions

If coming from Gauteng:

Travel in a westerly direction on the N14.
Take the R511 off-ramp at the Hartbeespoort and Brits indicator.
Continue on the R511 to Brits and drive straight through the town towards Thabazimbi.
Drive 75 km until you reach a sign indicating to turn left to Northam and Dwaalboom. Take this turn-off.
Continue on this road for 30 km until you reach Northam.
Cross two four-way stop streets.
The third four-way stop street intersects with the R510 to Thabazimbi.
Turn right and continue for 5 km.
A road sign will indicate the turn-off to Koedoeskop and Middeldrift.
Turn right and cross the train tracks.
The entrance to Angasii is 5 km along this road on your right.

If coming from Rustenburg:

Travel in a northerly direction along the R510 to Thabazimbi.
Continue along this course following the Northam indicators.
Approximately 80km from Rustenberg you will reach a fourway intersection at Northam centre.
Continue straight towards Thabazimbi for a further 5km
A road sign will indicate the turn-off to Koedoeskop and Middeldrift.
Turn right and cross the train tracks.
The entrance to Angasii is 5km along this road on your right.
