Far North is a privately owned luxury self-catering overnight accommodation, situated outside Polokwane / Pietersburg 8km from town on the Louis Trichardt road, away from the noise of the city. Far North is known for it’s quality and clean accommodation, all at the lowest possible rates.

Guests at Far North will experience a safe, but also a relaxed stay. All our units are inside a secure complex, surrounded with a seven feet wall and security gate - (open garages inside complex for vehicles).

Self Catering Chalets
Far North has 8 fully equipped chalets, each with one bedroom (1,2 or 3 beds), a fully equipped kitchen, and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Our chalets are cleaned & serviced daily and supplied with clean linen and towels. Bedrooms in the chalets all have a TV (Sabc 1,2,3 and E-TV), a ceiling fan, chair and desk. Every kitchen has a bar fridge, microwave, 2-plate stove, pots, pans, cutlery, kettle and mostly everything you need to prepare a meal, coffee, tea, sugar and cremora is also supplied. Furthermore every chalet has a braai and a table with chairs outside.

In the office you can buy a few small things like charcoal, chocolates etc, and also get a iron and iron board if you would be in need of one. Should you need directions to town or any other information you can phone us anytime.

Luxury / Honeymoon Chalet
We also have a Luxury Chalet or Honeymoon Suite for the newly married, but also for those who just want to treat their partner a bit. The carefully decorated bedroom has a four-poster bed, air-conditioning and TV. The bathroom has a big spa bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle etc (As mentioned above), and also has a small dining room table and two chairs. Included are complimentary champagne, chocolates, biltong, snacks and juice every day.

Far North is also perfect for Zimbabwean and Botswana residents coming to visit or shop in Polokwane.

From Polokwane
From Polokwane, take the N1 or Louis Trichardt Road, from last Robot at SA Breweries it is +/- 8km on your left hand side, there is a big board which has red reflective tape on it that says: "Far North Accommodation".

When you enter Polokwane from the N1 South or from Pretoria, the N1 becomes Groblerstreet, drive straight on until you reach Websterstreet, turn left into Websterstreet, drive straight on, the road will make a natural curve to the left, but continue straight on, you will find that Webster Street becomes Potgieter Avenue, still drive straight ahead, until you reach Landros Mare Street, turn right at that robot, then drive straight ahead over a bridge, you will find Trade Centre on your right hand side, but still drive straight on, eventually you will see SAB Breweries on your right hand side, from this robot you can measure the distance approximately 8.1km still straight on on the N1, we are situated on the left hand side of the road and there is a Big Sign in red saying “Far North Accommodation”, you turn left here onto a gravel road and in approximately 100m turn right again at another “Far North Accommodation” signboard.
