Pumula (in Zulu means
rest/peace) and that is exactly what we would like you
to experience on your stay. At Pumula Lodge we strive to
make our Guests feel at home with friendly, excellent
service and to experience a true African bushveld
atmosphere. The exclusive lodge is in the bushveld on
our Game farm set between the beautiful Waterberg
Mountains. Situated only 15km outside of Modimolle
(Nylstroom), 25km from Bela Bela (Warmbaths) and just 2
hours drive from Johannesburg.
Self
Catering Accommodation
We are pleased to offer you accommodation in our
spacious 3 Star, self catering lodge with two bedrooms
and a loft. The two bedrooms have queen size beds, built
in cupboards and air conditioning. The loft room has
bunk beds and one single bed especially designed for the
little ones. The bunk beds have a tent fashioned around
it to invite the little ones to play. The loft could be
re-arranged to accommodate adults as well.
Facilities
All rooms are provided with fine quality linen and bath
sheets. For your exclusive use, the Lodge is equipped
with a fully fitted kitchen, with all the necessary
cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery, large
fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave oven and cleaning
supplies. Lounge with TV, DVD, bathroom, guest toilet,
braai/BBQ and splash pool area. We provide our guests
with family friendly DVD’s and board games to enjoy.
The lodge is rented as a unit by a group or individuals.
That way we ensure privacy and exclusivity at all times.
There are no other guests on the property when you are
here, so you have the undivided attention of the owners
that also live on the farm.
The accommodation includes the private use of the lodge,
braai and swimming pool area. Complimentary coffee, tea,
sugar and milk is provided. Self guided game drives at
the guest’s convenience and 2 walking trails are also
available. We provide a daily cleaning service of the
bathroom, floors, swimming pool and braai area; any
additional cleaning could be arranged at an additional
charge.
The farm consists of Bushveld and savannah; there are
Zebra, Wildebeest, Blesbuck, Impala, Waterbuck, Hartbees,
Kudu and smaller game species on the farm. We offer
self-guided game drives, guided game drives, guided
horseback safaris, walking trails, outdoor swimming
pool, mountain biking (bring your own bike) and fishing
(bring own rod and tackle) on the property.
Dining
There are two restaurants less than 3km from the lodge.
There is also a day spa 1km from the farm. On request,
we also offer breakfast and a daily set dinner at an
additional charge. Get out of the hustle and bustle of
everyday life, come, relax and rejuvenate body, mind and
spirit. The peaceful bushveld surroundings are what your
family needs to bond and connect again.
