Silver Mist Resort's Chalets...
 

Silver Mist's 12 self-catering chalets of different sizes are nestled in the mountains overlooking one of three well stocked trout dams. A game fence with a variety of game encloses the farm.  There are twenty stables with American- style ranch paddocks and a small petting zoo. The farm also offers conferencing facilities and all Thaba-Metsi Adventure's activities. There is also a tented camp with five two-man tents on decks overlooking the dam or bring your own tent and camp alongside the beautiful dam.

Self-Catering Chalets

All units are serviced and linen and towels are provided. Kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, microwaves, fridges, stoves and
braai on patios.

Tented Camp

Tents have 2 single beds with linen, chairs and tables, power, braai on deck, central ablution block and kitchen.  Kitchen has
fridge, oven, hot plates and kettle.

Quad Biking...

The guided quad biking adventure takes you on a specially made quad biking trail through the indigenous forests along the Groot Letaba River and over the mountain overlooking the scenic George’s Valley.

Tubing...Off Site

The gecko-tubing trip starts deep in the gorge at the beginning of the Groot Letaba River. This adventure takes you through tranquil crystal clear waters with breathtaking views as well as through some roaring white water rapids.

Kloofing...Off Site

Kloofing in the scenic George’s Valley gorge is for the more adventurous! Explore, float and swim down sections of calm, peaceful water as well as experience bum sliding, rock hopping, hiking and waterfall jumping into breathtaking pools! Not for the feint hearted!

Canopy Tour...Off Site

Experience the thrill of sliding through the forest on a 2 ½ hour Tarzan and Jane style adventure!

Abseiling...Off Site

Our abseiling trip descends 30 metres down a smooth rock face into the majestic George’s Valley gorge, landing in the Groot Letaba River, also allowing for swimming and relaxing at the bottom underneath the waterfall.

Fly / Bass Fishing...

Experience river fly / bass fishing deep in the echoing gorge or exercise dam fly / bass fishing in beautiful surroundings. This includes a clinic for beginners.

Horse Riding...

Guided horse riding trails through the Magoebaskloof Mountains, along the Broedestroom River and through the pine plantations.

Paintball...

Our paintball course is situated in the sun-shafted glades of the beautiful indigenous forest.

Group Activities, Team Building & Fun day...

Facilitated group activities for corporates, schools or teams can be arranged on request.
