Cheerio Trout Fishing Lodge
is situated in the beautiful Cheerio Valley, home of the
annual Magoebaskloof Spring cherry blossom and azalea
show. It is surrounded by the Wolkberg mountains and
pine and indigenous forests. It lies between Pietersburg
and Tzaneen and is an excellent stop over to the Kruger
and other game parks.
Trout Fishing
Trout fishing is offered in three dams on the property
and at an owned property on the Letaba River. Fishing
can also be arranged in the waters of the local Trout
Fishing Association. Forest, riverside and garden walks
can be undertaken from the property and hiking, mountain
bike, horse and 4x4 trails are in close proximity.
Adventure & Camping
Our property on the Letaba River provides both adventure
seekers and nature lovers with a host of outdoor
activities. There is quad biking, white water tubing,
kloofing (canyoning),abseiling, mountain biking,birding, hiking,
fishing and paintball. There is a campsite for those who
would like to be on
site.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided via 2, 4 and 6 sleeper, fully
equipped self catering cottages. The self catering
chalets have fireplaces. There are also 3 two bed B&B
rondavels. The property has a swimming pool and tennis
court and beautiful gardens.

Additional Information:
- Self-catering
chalets are fully equipped with all bedding, towels
and cooking utensils. Braai facilities are also
available.
- Recreational
facilities include trout fishing, swimming pool,
tennis court and table tennis, birding, walks and
mountain biking. Tennis racquets are available for
hire. Please bring your own swimming towels.
- No pets are
allowed.
- 50% of total
accommodation cost is required as a deposit to
confirm your reservation.
- Booking in is
after 14.00 and chalets are to be vacated by 10.00.
Alternate times will gladly be accommodated where
possible.
- Chalets are
serviced except on Christmas day and Easter Sunday.
