So… we have chosen not to have electricity in the cottage and to stick to paraffin lanterns and candles …so much more romantic…so,  no TV’s but… yes… there is an ice cold fridge to keep those beers cold!

This three bedroom (3 bathroom) house which can sleep up to 8 people is set on the banks of a 5 ha farm dam – the ideal spot for the keen fly fisherman (there is also a boat on the dam).  The indigenous bush and the wetlands on the property encourage numerous birds for the keen birder.  There is a trail on the farm which joins up with the Lesodi Trail via Sanford Heights nursery – a great stopover for tea and waffles. 

Equipped and decorated to the highest and most soothing standards, this self-catering double-storey log cabin boasts three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Such is its privacy, you can luxuriate in a bath looked upon only by a forest and an enormous sky.

Centre-piece of the spacious open plan living area is a fitted log fire for those quiet, romantic evenings. Two decks give you a choice of forest and lake views and once sundowners are over, the built-in deck braai beckons.
