Bifrost
is a large furnished home with living room, dining room, 3 main bedrooms
for adults and 2 smaller
rooms for children and an adult.
There is comfortable accommodation for 9 people, 7 adults and 2 children.
A modern well equipped kitchen with a microwave, gas stove and oven, fridge and
freezer.
Laundry service on request.
The facilities include electricity, cellphone, television, hot water, fireplaces
and a playroom.
Blankets, pillows, bed linen and towels are at hand. For outdoor cooking, a
Cadac and a Cobb BBQ/Braai are provided. Guests are requested to bring their own
charcoal briquettes.
Bifrost is fully serviced by trained staff.
Bifrost Mountain Retreat lies serenely on the Iron
Crown Mountain majestically surveying the vast ranges of the Drakensburg and the
waters of the Ebenezer Dam.

country home renown for its uniquely tranquil atmosphere, which inspires and
enchants guests.
Located in South Africa, three and a half hours drive (385 km) from Johannesburg
in the magnificent Magoebaskloof-Haenertsburg area of the Northern-Limpopo
Province. An excellent stopover to the Kruger Park 150 km away. For the tourist
arriving at JHB international Airport, numerous car hire companies are
available.

Haenertsburg Village, a charming cluster of essential shops and restaurants only
5km from Bifrost offers interesting diversions. Along the R71 there are plant
nurseries, pubs, tea gardens and the Debegeni Falls to amuse and intrigue
visitors. The Barnyard Lakeside Theatre features regular musicals, cabaret,
comedy and theatre. Bring your own picnic supper for a fun evening.
September is the month for the Spring Fair and Orchid Show. Visiting Cheerio
Gardens for the cherry blossoms, azaleas and camellias is a wonderful
experience. Nearby along the Cheerio road is the Wegraakbosch Organic cheese
factory where cheese tasting and a glass of wine create a happy moment.
The Ebenezer Mile for swimmers and the many mountain bike races attract hundreds
of sporting enthusiasts annually.
