The Magaliesburg River, being a stones throw away, offers the potential for some of the best Trout fishing in the area. For those who wish to relax, the pool and lounge/library are ideal places for sitting back and reading a good novel. In winter, the underfloor heating and fireplaces make it the perfect cosy retreat. There is also a Snooker Table for some extra entertainment.
	Stone Hill offers privacy, peace and seclusion and it is where your internal clock instinctively slows to the rhythm of the bush. The welcome is warm and the attention is personalised so come and braai under the stars and hear the call of the jackals. The perfect escape! Stone Hill is a wonderful cure for stressed city living! We are a family and pet friendly venue and welcome children of all ages and all breeds of house trained and socialized dogs and other pets. Each cottage and its garden is entirely encompassed by a fence for your pet’s peace of mind! The small splash pool is within easy reach of the cottages and the view down the valley is breathtaking. There is NO TV.

Well above the pollution line we have 8 semi-luxury, self-catering, self-contained cottages scattered high in the Magaliesberg mountains to afford privacy . The top of our property is Beacon 131, so there is plenty of hiking, walking or scrambling in the mountain, where you will discover stunning sights, sounds and smells that will take your breath away.
