Ndabushi bushveld retreat, Hoedspruit

A peaceful retreat located on the banks of the Klaserie River 26 kms from Hoedspruit on the Eastgate Airport road and 12 kms from Eastgate Airport.

Naturally occurring game include Duiker, in great numbers, Bushbuck, Hippo. At night a number of guests have had close encounters with hippos which have arrived to graze on the lawns. There are occasional sightings of Leopard, Hyena, African Wild Cat, Civet, Porcupine, Waterbuck and various other animals wondering in from surrounding reserves. At night one can hear trumpeting of Elephants and roaring of Lions from the neighbouring reserves. For the bird watcher, there is an amazing number of bird species to be seen.

If you just want to relax, park out under the giant Leadwood trees in the tranquil garden or cool off in the large swimming pool which has a thatched entertainment area on two sides.

For the larger groups, there is a lovely boma in the pool area & if you wish to cater for group functions, there is a fully equipped kitchen at the pool.

Catering for group functions can be arranged by prior arrangement. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see the hippo in the large hippo pool or the 2m crocodile which frequents the river.

7 chalets - 4 x 1 bedroom (sleeps 2), 2 x two bedroom 9 sleeps 4) &
1 x family chalet which has 2 bedrooms, 1 sleeps 2 & the other sleeps 4. This chalet also has seperate lounge & kitchen.
All bedrooms are ensuite.
We can sleep a total of 22 people, but as the chalets are so spacious there is room for extra beds if necessary. I have 5 spare beds.

We are 26kms outside of Hoedspruit on the Eastgate Airport road on the Klaserie River of which we have 1 km of river frontage which is unfortunately choked by reeds so there are only a couple of spots where one can reach the river - one of which is at a large pool inhabited by hippos.
