The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate offers the experience of feeling like you're miles away from everything, yet you are only a few minutes from the convenience of the tourist town of Hoedspruit, with its selection of well-stocked shops and restaurants.

Major attractions such as the Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon, the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, Bombyx Silk Farm, Khamai Reptile Park, and Hoedspruit's giant Boabab tree are just a short drive away.

There are a number of game drive routes on the estate itself, including two elevated bird hides overlooking dams.Game such as impala, kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, waterbuck, eland, hyena and buffalo roam freely between the lodges, making your stay in Hoedspruit unforgettable. If you’re really lucky, you might even see a leopard or lion on the estate …

Our self catering luxury lodges can accommodate between 4 and 8 people, depending on the size of the lodge. The lodges are fully equipped, with all cutlery, crockery, linen and towels, as well as fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle provided.

Self catering accommodation is available in 4, 6 or 8 sleeper bush lodges.

Two double bedrooms downstairs with twin beds and a loft bedroom with twin beds.
Either one or two bathrooms - some with outside showers and if there are two bathrooms, mostly one with a bath and one with a shower.

8 sleeper Bush Lodge

An eight-sleeper lodge with three separate wings
One wing consists of the living area with lounge, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen
Two separate bedroom wings, housing four double bedrooms and four bathrooms, two with baths and two with showers
