We at Dunroamin Safaris would like to give you a
heartfelt welcome to the beautiful and majestic
Waterberg Biosphere Region. The Waterberg has a natural
beauty, which for those who know the area well, is
unmatched elsewhere. It gives one a sense of limitless
space, beauty and splendour. We would therefore like you
to experience a piece of heaven here with us. We are
merely 2.5hrs from Johannesburg and 2hrs from Pretoria,
and are situated approximately 25kms outside the little
town of Vaalwater (Mabatlane), which is a malaria free
area .
We offer one very private self-contained thatch chalet,
consisting of two double bedrooms with queen size beds,
en-suite bathrooms and outside showers where stargazing
is endless. Guests have their own private swimming pool,
boma and outside braai (BBQ) facilities. We also offer
one private self-contained cottage, with one bedroom
with a queen size bed and en-suite shower and bath,
kitchen and outside braai (BBQ) facilities.
This makes for an ideal and unforgettable bushveld
experience!

BUSHBABY COTTAGE
Thatch roof cottage. One bedroom with a queen size bed,
en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Fully equipped
open plan kitchen and lounge. Built in cupboards. Fan
and heater. Jetmaster. Outside braai facility (BBQ).
Activities
HUNTING
Hunting is very popular in the area. Big 5 hunting
packages can be booked through us.
GAME VIEWING
For those wishing to go on a game drive, our game viewer
with driver is available. Seeing all types of plains
game which include eland, kudu, impala, zebra,
waterbuck, red hartebeest, steenbuck, duiker , bushbuck,
reedbuck etc. Sundowners can be arranged, and are highly
recommended.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
For the more energetic, try a truly unique experience
and become one with nature.
QUAD BIKING
Available to guests.
BIRD WATCHING
The Waterberg offers many species of birds for all the
bird lovers out there.
WALKING
Walking is permitted and most enjoyed by nature lovers
alike.
TRANSFERS
We are able to provide personal transfers from Jhb Intl
Airport and return.
LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Golf, horseback adventures, white lion breeding project,
helicopter rides, rhino sanctuary, petting zoo and
lions, tigers, wolves and many more, Big 5 game drives
and elephant back riding. And for the ladies who wish
to pamper themselves, there are a few beauty salons to
choose from. We also have local restaurants and coffee
