Accommodation: Four separate chalets, en suite (each chalet has two
beds)
Location: Limpopo (Northern) Province, in the heart of the
Bushveld next door to Mabula Game Reserve.
Airport/Transportation: Less than two hours drive from Johannesburg
International Airport; car hire or transport to the lodge is available on
arrangement.

The Lodge enjoys traversing rights over 10 000 ha of African bush, roamed by the
Big Five and other rare species such as the Sable antelope and Tsesebe. Sable
Lodge is a paradise for bird watchers, with more than 300 species which are
indigenous to the magnificent bushveld.
The Area is malaria free.
Sable Lodge has a luxurious clubhouse, incorporating a lounge with fireplace
which adds ambience on cool winter evenings. A dining room, pub and a
fully-equipped kitchen complete the facility. The lapa with wide verandas and
decking overflows the splash-pool and overlooks the lush bush to the distant
Waterberg on the horizon.
The clubhouse is fully equipped with DSTV, fax and telephone facilities.
Four separate chalets, with ensuite facilities and each with a private veranda,
complete the Sable Lodge complex. Under-thatch parking is available.
A dedicated game viewing vehicle is provided, along with the services of an
experienced, game ranger and a full-time housekeeper. Sable Lodge is fully
serviced on a daily basis and lends itself to self catering. However, catering
requirements can be pre-arranged with the housekeeper who will also care for
your comfort and satisfaction at all times.
