Enjoy a breakaway in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere only two hours north of Pretoria. This is the perfect place-to-go with your family or friends. 

Olievenhoutsrus offers two cosy Rondavels, which sleeps two and two comfortable Family Cottages that sleeps four to six, which are all equipped with a fridge/microwave and coffee and tea making facility. The thatched Rondavels have a bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is also an open-plan lounge and kitchenette. Our Family Cottages have two to three bedrooms, a bathroom and an open-plan lounge and kitchen area. 

The accommodation is in a beautiful garden setting all with views of the bushveld. Watch many different game species grazing nearby! There are central facilities included. Lapa with braai facilities, a fully-equipped kitchen, DStv, swimming pool and a large open fireplace, that is popular for social evenings under the stars. 

The farm offers great self-guided game and bird viewing walks as well as horse- and pony rides. There are plenty of things to do and recreational facilities in the nearby area. 

Olievenhoutsrus is also conveniently situated en-route to Botswana, which makes it the perfect stopover for the overland traveller. For these adventurers we have a neat bushveld campsite tucked away in the bush and away from the Main Lodge.

Olievenhoutsrus has two cosy thatched rondavels each equipped with double bed, bathroom en-suite, kitchenette fridge/microwave/coffee tray and a small lounge area with fan. A sleeper couch can be provided in the lounge area for small children. Olievenhoutsrus has a large garden area and communal outdoor facilities. This includes a lapa with braai facility, a fully-equipped kitchen and DStv. There is also a stunning swimming pool, as well as an open boma with a large fireplace and more braai facilities, which is popular for social evenings under the stars

We have one family cottage with three bedrooms, one double bed and two rooms each equipped with two single beds, bathroom, separate toilet, open-plan lounge and kitchen area. Consists of two thatched and cosy rondavels, one three-bedroom family cottage and one two bedroom family cottage, all with own bathroom and kitchenette. A central boma with braai facilities, a fully-equipped kitchen, DStv and a swimming pool is available for your use and is the ideal spot to spend the midday heat or social evenings. It is also a great place to watch the little bushbabies playing in the garden during sunrise and sunset.
