Leopard Creek Reserve Lodge Leopard Creek Reserve is set in the magnificent 'malaria-free' Waterberg Mountains and is just a 3 and a half drive from Pretoria. This lodge and reserve offers a feeling of space and freedom and its bountiful wildlife and plant life provide an intimate relationship with nature. A fantastic experience for nature-lovers. The Lodge This lodge built in the heart of the bush provides an idyllic natural setting where you may experience the outdoors but still with all the comforts. The covered-elevated deck, superb for bird watching, is placed centrally within the lodge complex and has comfortable sofas and a large dinning table. There are also coffee and tea making facilities. The spacious kitchen opens onto this decking area and comes fully equipped with all conveniences. There is a splash pool and bar next to the traditional lapa with an outside fire providing a place to have the prefect braai. For those guests who would prefer to be catered for, we will provide good 'home style' meals at an additional cost. Accommodation Eight beautifully set lodges, overlooking the Tamboti River offers scenic views of euphorbia and paperbark trees lining the river gorge, from every private balcony. Each wooden lodge comes with either en-suite or private bathroom. All rooms come with bed linen and towels. Lodges come in double room, twin room, triple and quadruple rooms (ideal for families). Activities A variety of activities such as game drives, guided walks and game- and bird watching from viewing hides at waterholes are available. We can also organize bush picnics, sundowners in the bush and lunches in the river gorge. Day trips to local reserves can be arranged such as the white lion-breeding project and rhinoland. Wildlife The 700ha game reserve is home to several plains game species such as Impala, Warthog, Blue Wildebeest, Gemsbok, Eland, Waterbuck, Zebra, Kudu, as well as Leopard, Brown Hyena and Caracal and of course many smaller inhabitants. The reserve is great for bird watching, with a dam and a river there is a good variety of birds. Leopard Creek Reserve is a wonderful destination for those interested in wildlife, birding and ecology. Conference Facilities & Group Bookings There is also an air-conditioned conference room, which makes a wonderful venue for any corporate meeting or team building events.
