Nestling in the
shadows of the Waterberg Mountains, near Bela-Bela
(formerly Warmbaths) in Limpopo,
Thaba Pitsi is a Malaria-free private game
reserve of 500 hectare. It takes less than 2 hours to
reach Thaba Pitsi from Johannesburg and less than one
hour thirty minutes from Pretoria, travelling via the
national Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg) highways N1
North.
Thaba Pitsi Lodge with its Ndebele bungalows and his
luxury tented Camp, up there on the hill, in the heart
of the nature reserve, speak of sweet dreams under the
stars of the African sky. Either on 4x4, on horseback,
or even simply on foot, one gets close to zebra,
giraffes and antelopes that live quietly on the 500 ha
estate. Up there on the hill, in the heart of the nature
reserve, luxurious safari tents or bungalows speak of
sweet dreams under the stars of the African sky.
