Activities
Samangoes are active, gregarious, noisy and curious, like most primates around the world. Only in a few unique places does one have the rare opportunity to come face to face with these graceful little apes - one such places is the Magoebaskloof Hotel.

The Magoebaskloof Hotel is particularly well situated as a premier birding destination. Nestled on the edge of one of the largest consolidated expanses of Afromontane Forest in the sub region, the hotel offers forest birding of the very highest quality.

Except for the coastal forests at Knysna, the Afromontane forests of the Magoebaskloof area ranks as of the most extensive in South Africa and also of the most beautiful. The vegetation of these forests have enormous plant diversity and are dominated by trees as tall as 30-40m
